The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 489-A, 489(B), 489(C) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 17.07.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70897 of 2021(2) dt.05-05-2022 2/2 arrested with fake currency of the value of Rs. 12,850/- and was apprehended while his two associates fled.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, he was a mere passerby who came to be implicated as the accused who had fled had thrown the fake currency on the road and the police implicated the petitioner in the offence.

Learned A.P.P. for the State and the learned C.G.C. oppose the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 17.07.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and chargesheet has been submitted in the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Gaunaha P.S. Case No. 139 of 2021 with a condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be his father, Krishna Singh.
