The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondents to consider his case in the light of the judgment of Mukesh & Ano. Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors., reported in (2017) 5 SCC 383.

Considering the judgment of the Apex Court in the case of Mukesh & Ano. (supra) and the subsequent judgment in the case of State of Bihar & Ors. Vs. Dilip Kumar and Anr (Civil Appeal No 5205 of 2019) dated 18.07.2019, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take appropriate decision in the light of the aforesaid judgments
