JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-10-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is to have tortured and killed daughter of the informant on account of non-fulfilment of demand of dowry.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 16.5.2015. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case for offence under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. There is no allegation of tampering of evidence against the petitioner. Allegation made in the F.I.R. is not supported by the witnesses. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and chargesheet has been submitted for offence under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond
