NILU AGRAWAL ORAL ORDER 18-12-2018 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for the State, the learned counsel appearing for the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna, as well as the learned counsel appearing for the Accountant General, Jharkhand. Petitioner prays for payment of up-to-date pension from the date of his retirement till the date of payment of such pensionery benefits with interest on account of delay. Petitioner retired on 30.04.2013 from the post of Block Supply Officer, Bokaro, which is now in the State of Jharkhand.
Patna High Court CWJC No.13961 of 2018(2) dt.18-12-2018 2/2 A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna, in which it has been stated that a Pension Payment Order has been prepared which is Annexure R9/E, dated 20.07.2018, which has been sent to the Treasury Officer, Patna Collectorate.
Since, the petitioner retired from the State of Jharkhand and other calculations are to be made, learned counsel for the State of Jharkhand submits that calculations and authentication of salary fixation have been done and the same took time. Considering the submissions, made by the parties, the present writ application is disposed off with a direction to respondent no. 11, the District Treasury Officer, Patna, to make payment of revised pensionary benefits prepared in favour of the petitioner vide Pension Payment Order from the office of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna, dated 20th July, 2018, within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
