This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 498A, 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is husband of the victim lady, who died within five years of her marriage in her matrimonial house in unnatural circumstances. There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that in fact the victim died of illness due to some complication arising during pregnancy. However, no prescription, in support of the aforesaid assertion has been produced.

Considering the nature and seriousness of the allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

The prayer for bail is refused.

The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
