The petitioner seeks bail in Mufassil Samastipur P.S. Case No. 119 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30, 36, 38, 41 and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The informant, police officer, alleged that he got information that Ramnath Mahto @ Nathuni Mahto had kept foreign liquor in his house to sell on such a raid was conducted and huge quantity of foreign liquor was recovered from the house of Ramnath Mahto @ Nathuni Mahto.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is mother of Ramnath Mahto @ Nathuni Mahto and she is in jail since 11.03.2017.

No.21107 of 2017 (2) dt.04-05-2017 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid and the facts that the petitioner is a lady and from the house of her son huge quantity of foreign liquor was recovered, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur in Mufassil Samastipur P.S.
