The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barhara (Raghubanshnagar O.P.) P.S. Case No. 68 of 2017, corresponding to Special Excise Act Case No. 369 of 2017, registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Excise Act and Prohibition Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of a plastic Gallon containing two litre country made liquor from the shop of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 03.04.2017.

No.20916 of 2017 (2) dt.11-05-2017 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge Excise Act, Purnia, connection with Barhara (Raghubanshnagar O.P.) P.S. Case No. 68 of 2017. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
