The petitioner's prayer for his release on bail was earlier rejected by an order, dated 18.05.2016. The present application has been filed seeking renewal of the prayer for bail. By order, dated 08.03.2017, the present status of trial before the Court below was sought for, which is available on record. From the said report, it appears that nine prosecution witnesses have been examined and the trial is at the advanced stage.
In that view of the matter, this application is disposed of with an observation that the Court below shall ensure early
conclusion of the trial without granting undue adjournments to the parties.
