2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 74, 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S..
3. As per prosecution case, informant, namely Durga Kumari, alleged that on 05.01.2025 at about 6 PM, this petitioner came from behind, caught hold of her, dragged her in a field and on the point of pistol, tried to sexually harass her. When the informant raised alarm, this petitioner fled away from the spot. It is further alleged that when informant and her family members went to make complaint, all the F.I.R. named accused
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60521 of 2025(2) dt.08-09-2025 2/3 persons, including this petitioner, assaulted them with lathi, danda and iron rod.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. As a matter of fact, co-accused Sukumari Devi lodged a case on 06.01.2025 vide Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 5 of 2025 against informant and others, which is earlier in point of time and in retaliation and only with a view to save their skin from the aforesaid case, this false and concocted case has been lodged.

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that he tried to sexually harass the informant on the point of pistol and assaulted informant and her family members when they went to make complaint. The victim in her statement recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S. has supported the prosecution case. The victim is a minor. Petitioner has got one criminal antecedent.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specific and direct nature of accusation and statement of victim recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., the prayer
