The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No. 162 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 30/30A of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 84 liters of illicit liquor from the field of one Ramdeo Sharma, who had taken the name of the petitioner as the main accused. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case.
