The petitioner seeks bail in Sarai P.S. Case No. 137 of 2016 registered under Sections 30(a), 32(2), 38(1) and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The police seized a car bearing registration no. JH10AN2093, from which different brands of liquor was recovered. From the car, many domestic consumer gas cards were recovered. The same is in the name of Ranjan Kumar (petitioner). Leanred counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has nothing to do with the car. Aditya Kumar who is the brother of the petitioner had purchased the car from which liquor was recovered.

Considering the facts that the petitioner was not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21099 of 2017 (2) dt.04-05-2017 2/2 apprehended with the vehicle, save and except the fact that one domestic gas card in the name of the petitioner was recovered that is why the petitioner was made accused, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Judge-XIV-cum-A.C.J.M., Hajipur, Vaishali in connection with Sarai P.S. Case No. 137 of 2016.
