The petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Gopalganj to take final decision on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the father of the petitioner died in harness on 21.05.2013 and thereafter application was filed for consideration of his case for compassionate appointment, but the respondents have not taken any decision till date. In the aforesaid circumstance, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Programme Officer

Patna High Court CWJC No.14606 of 2018 dt.25-08-2018 2/2 (Establishment), Gopalganj to examine the claim of the petitioner and place the same before the District Compassionate Appointment Committee for appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment, if not already referred to the District Compassionate Appointment Committee, within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The District Compassionate Appointment Committee is expected to take final decision on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment within a further period of two months.
