Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No. 418 of 2022 lodged under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Acts.

As per the prosecution case, the recovery of one desi katta and 2 live cartridges has been made from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present F.I.R. has been lodged against 2 named accused persons. Counsel submits that antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 16.07.2022.

No.62041 of 2022(2) dt.24-02-2023 2/2 Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that if bail shall be granted to the petitioner, the petitioner may be started making trouble in trial. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected but liberty is hereby granted to the petitioner that he may renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge. The Trial Court is directed to release him on bail imposing its own conditions, so that he may not evade his appearance during trial.

With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
