This was her fault which resulted into her body cut into pieces, head and legs severed, spinal cord removed, The body pieces were filled in a bucket and thrown in the river to be eaten by the fishes. The girl was pregnant when she was killed.

2. The allegation is against the petitioner and the severed body parts were recovered from the river. The axe, knife and the bucket used in the crime too were recovered/seized.

3. Heard Mr. Bhola Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

4. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Alauli P.S. Case No. 105 of 2024 for the offence punishable under sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65334 of 2024(3) dt.25-11-2024 2/3 on 19.03.2024 by the informant, Nirdosh Paswan.

5. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that his sister, Khushi Kumari was missing and later severed dead body was found floating in the river. The family members went to identify the body, it belonged to their beloved child with only the part between the neck and the stomach, but the 'kada' in her hand confirmed that she was Khushi Kumari.

6. Subsequently, the police during investigation picked up the petitioner as also the associates whereafter the entire story came to light as having decided to get rid of her, not only the petitioner killed the girl, he ensured that the body is cut to pieces so that the same is/are thrown in river as fish feed and the crime never comes to light. To cut short the matter, not only the petitioner allegedly took away her life, the dead body was also insulted by severing her body into pieces.

7. It is unbelievable that such a person exist in the society, if allegation along with the materials on record is/are to be accepted. It has to be noted that she was carrying the child of the petitioner in the womb.

8. The investigation that has taken the Police to the doorstep of the petitioner alleging heinous crime, in the aforesaid background, no relief can be extended to the

9. Accordingly, the bail petition stands rejected.

10. The girl carrying another child in her womb has untimely left the world and the least her soul would like is an early justice, which the Trial Court must note. (Rajiv Roy, J) Vijay Singh/- U T
