JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-08-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends arrest in registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name has figured during course of investigation. It is stated in paragraph 3 of the bail petition that the petitioner has got clean antecedent. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that during investigation two motorcycles were seized by the police from a field and one of the motorcycles belonged to full brother of the petitioner which was used by the petitioner. It was the petitioner who fired upon the informant causing gun shot injuries on his hand and thigh.
