JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-11-2018 The short submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that though the petitioner has filed a petition for grant of environment clearance before the respondent no. 5 i.e. the District Environment Impact Assessment Authority (DEIAA), Saharsa, the Committee has not taken any step to pass a final order although the District Environment Appraisal Committee (DEAC), Saharsa has recommended for grant of environment clearance, hence it is prayed that the respondent no. 5 be directed to pass a final order expeditiously.

Mines, Shri Naresh Dikshit submits that the District Environment Impact Assessment Authority (DEIAA), Saharsa will definitely take a final decision in the matter within a period of six weeks from today. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, I deem it fit and proper to direct the respondent no. 5 Environment Impact Assessment Authority (DEIAA), Saharsa to take a final decision within a period of six weeks from today.
