The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Brahmpur (K.B) P.S. Case No. 68 of 2017, registered under Section 30(a) and 47 of Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016. The accusation is of recovery of five cartons, each containing 12 bottles of 750 ML of India made foreign liquor from a vehicle in which petitioner was found sitting. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 04.03.2017.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23465 of 2017 (3) dt.28-06-2017 2/2 Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, Buxar in connection with Brahmpur (K.B) P.S. Case No. 68 of 2017. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner, who will file an affidavit showing his relation with the petitioner.
