Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Allegation is that the petitioner and co-accused Sunil Kumar were carrying liquor in a bag. The petitioner threw the same and fled away. Sunik Kumar was apprehended. The petitioner is in custody since 28.03.2017.

Submission is that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and has been falsely implicated on suspicion. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22165 of 2017 (2) dt.09-05-2017 2/2 each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-XI, Begusarai/successor Court in connection with Bachhwara Police Station Case No. 26 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
