Mr. S. Raza Ahmad (AAG 5) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR and HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR) Date : 24-01-2023 Heard Mr. Sanjay Kumar Tiwary for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

Mr. Tiwari has submitted that for no fault of his, the license which was granted to him in the year 1990 could not be renewed as the concerned authorities, who had to take a call with respect to renewing his license under the new Control Order, did not pay heed to his request.

Patna High Court CWJC No.18311 of 2019 dt.24-01-2023 2/2 We express our sympathies with the petitioner if this allegation is correct but as of now, we do not have any material before us to direct for any relief to the petitioner. The petitioner obviously is a licensee of an earlier Control Order. Under the new Control Order, such licenses have to be ratified and renewed.

For such renewal of license and its ratification under the new Control Order 2016, a time-limit has been fixed.

The application of the petitioner is hopelessly time-barred with respect to that.

Thus, no positive order can be passed in this petition.

The petition stands dismissed.
