Respondent : Sunita Devi Present:- Member(Judicial) :Mr. Justice Ashok Kumar Pandey Member(Legal Profession) : Priyanka Singh AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement:

Both parties have appeared and this matter has been compromised at Rs.65,00,000/- (Rupees Sixty Five Lakh), as full and final settlement. However, learned counsel for the appellant has referred to a judgment of this Court in the case of "The New India Insurance Co. Ltd. Vs. Geeta Devi and Others" according to which the statutory amount is to be adjusted in this full and final settlement.

2. As such, the prayer for adjustment is accepted.

3. This statutory amount may be paid to the claimants by the trial court. Let the amount be paid to the claimant/respondent within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this award.
