Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 498(A), 494 and some other ancillary Sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, the informant was subjected to cruelty on account of demand of dowry by this petitioner and other accused persons.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the case. Petitioner is ready to keep his wife with all honour and dignity and he is in custody since 30.07.2021. Investigation in

Learned counsel appearing for the State and the informant vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent and in existence of first marriage he solemnized second marriage. Considering the facts of the case and the period of custody of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub divisional Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa in connection with Saharsa (Mahila) PS case No.28/2021.
