JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 24-02-2020 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since under some wrong advise the petitioner has filed this writ application challenging the order of confiscation, he may be permitted to withdraw this writ application with liberty to seek his remedy of statutory appeal before the appropriate forum. This application is, thus, disposed off as withdrawn with liberty as prayed on behalf of the petitioner. In case such an appeal is preferred within a period of 30 days from today, the same will be considered on its own merit keeping in view that the petitioner was pursuing this writ application under some legal advice and bonafide belief.
