The petitioner seeks bail in Sasaram Nagar (Mufassil) P.S. Case No. 693 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 399 and 401 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 25(1-b)a/26 of the Arms Act.

The informant police officer apprehended the petitioner with rifle and two live cartridges. It is alleged that the petitioner and others were preparing to commit an offence. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 19.06.2016. The petitioner has already remained in jail for six months and he has got only criminal case pending against him.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47028 of 2016 (3) dt.22-12-2016 2/2 named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-X, Rohtas at Sasaram in Sasaram Nagar (Mufassil) P.S. Case No. 693 of 2016.
