The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 326, 379, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner stabbed with knife and caused grievous injury.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that there is no eye-witness to the alleged occurrence and none of the witness has supported the prosecution case and entire prosecution case is false and concocted. Petitioner is in custody since 12.10.2021. Investigation is complete.

However, learned counsel for the informant opposed the bail petition and submitted that as per F.I.R., this petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71365 of 2021(4) dt.10-05-2022 2/2 is one of the assailant, who gave repeated knife blow and thereby caused grievous injury.

Considering the nature of accusation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and same is, accordingly, rejected. However, since the petitioner is in custody since 12.10.2021, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
