2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition was filed for grant of promotion on the post of lecturer 'Selection Grade'. Counsel further submits that during pendency of the writ petition, a counter-affidavit has come that promotion in Lecturer (Selection Grade) under Career Advancement Scheme was no in prescribed format. Therefore, it was rejected vide letter No. 2664 dated 27.09.2018. Counsel further submits that the said Selection Grade has been granted to the petitioner in the year 2024.
3. In this background, counsel submits that the present writ petition has become infructuous.
4. Accordingly, the present writ petition, i.e., CWJC No. 16109 of 2018 stands dismissed as having become infructuous.
