Petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s):- "(A) For issuance of an appropriate writ certiorari to quash the order dated 11.03.2016 passed in Revenue Appeal No. 14 of 2010-11 passed by the District Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara (Annexure-3) whereby appeal of petitioner was rejected due to non appearance.

(B) For issuance of an appropriate writ directing and commanding the respondents to restore the Revenue Appeal No. 14 of 2010-11 in the court of the District Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara."

Petitioner has filed this writ petition for issuance of a direction to the authority concerned to restore the revenue

Patna High Court CWJC No.20907 of 2021 dt.14-02-2022 2/2 appeal being Revenue Appeal No. 14 of 2010-11 which was rejected by Collector of Ara district vide order dated 11.03.2016. Petitioner has approached this Court after inordinate delay of more than 5 years for which, no sufficient reasons has been furnished, as such, present writ petition is dismissed on the ground of delay and laches.
