Having regard to the detailed explanation given in the supplementary show cause reply in response to the order of this Court dated 23.01.2015 this Court would now like to close the matter specially when in paragraph no. 35 of the supplementary show cause reply to Mr. Pradeep Kumar the present Secretary Panchayati Raj department has taken following stand:- "That it is, further, submitted that the present Secretary of the department has not

Patna High Court MJC No.5218 of 2013 (3) dt.13-04-2015 drawn his salary. At present, the post of Director is vacant. The previous Principal Secretary and the Director has been taking their salaries in their respective periods, but that too, in good gesture that the seniority list has been published earlier and the departmental authorities has continuously endeavoring in final publication of the list at the earliest possible time. One of the Principal Secretaries was posted in the Rural Development Department and was having additional charge of Panchayat Raj Department, hence, he did not draw salary from this department. Although there has been delay in full compliance of the order, but in view of the sincere, dedicated and committed work done by the authorities, the Hon'ble Court may please be kind enough to condone the error and omission done on part of the then answering opposite party No. 2 and 4 i.e.d the Principal Secretary and the Director of the Panchayati Raj Department."

That being so, this contempt application now stands disposed of.
