The petitioner seeks bail in connection with GRP Darbhanga P.S. Case No. 111 of 2016, registered under Section 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that while informant was in queue to purchase the railway ticket at Darbhanga Railway Station at that time one person took out Rs. 4000/- of Rs. 2000/- denomination from his pocket and started fleeing, but on chase, he was apprehended who disclosed his name as Amarjeet Kamati (Petitioner). On search, two currency of Rs. 2000/- and other notes were recovered from his possession.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 17.12.2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27681 of 2017 (2) dt.12-07-2017 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Railway Samastipur in connection with G.R.P. Darbhanga P.S. Case No. 111 of 2016. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner, who will file an affidavit showing his relation with the petitioner.
