Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 47(a) and 57 of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

From the possession of the petitioner about eight litres of foreign liquor was recovered on 01.09.2016. The petitioner is in custody since the same day. The petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. Submission is that on the date of seizure possession of foreign liquor was not an offence. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
