Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 30(a), 38(1), 38(2) and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
6000 litres of spirit was recovered from a truck. The petitioners were apprehended at the spot. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail, after completion of investigation of the case against the petitioners, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56930 of 2019(2) dt.12-09-2019 2/2 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Turkauliya Police Station Case No. 485 of 2019, subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
(b) Both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
