2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 226 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2023.

3. As per allegation, 936 liters of illicit liquor was recovered from a Scorpio vehicle, driven by the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing incriminating has been recovered from his conscious possession and he is under custody since 06.08.2024.

5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and

No.65238 of 2024(2) dt.19-09-2024 2/2 circumstances, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to furnish bail bond after four months from today and on doing so, the court below shall release the petitioner on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court-I, Sitamarhi in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 226 of 2024, subject to the following condition:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
