The petitioner in this case is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Karja P.S. Case No.122 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 394 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the First Information Report and he has falsely been implicated in this case.
Learned APP for the State is present and has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case wherein it appears that in course of investigation in some CCTV

No.56785 of 2019(3) dt.20-11-2019 2/2 footage the petitioner has been identified in connection with a loot case and further that the petitioner has got previous criminal antecedent, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer is, thus, refused. In case, the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail in the court below within a period of four weeks from today, his prayer for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
