2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Murliganj P.S. Case No. 48/2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-B)(a), 26 of Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, one country-made pistol and 16 live cartridges have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. Learned counsel further submits that he has six criminal antecedents and he is in custody since 02.02.2025. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on the ground that he is accused in six more similar and serious cases.

6. Considering the articles recovered and criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
