The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Basantpur P.S. Case No. 288 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 308/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A)/41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 108 liters of illicit liquor from the house of the co-accused person namely, Banka Mahto and thereafter the name of the petitioner had transpired upon report being made to the police by the spy. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J. Iind cum- Special Judge Excise, Siwan in connection with Basantpur P.S. Case No. 288 of 2018.
