The petitioner has challenged the election of respondent No. 9 as Mukhiya of Matihani Panchayat in the District of Begusarai. The petitioner has filed an election petition which is pending.

Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has attempted to persuade us that there has been gross irregularities in the process of election.

We cannot comment upon such submissions in the present proceeding.

We are not inclined to entertain this writ application in the facts and circumstances of the case. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to pursue before the appropriate forum for expeditious disposal of the election petition.
