2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 416 of 2023 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, lodged on 26.08.2023 by the informant, Gauri Shankar Thakur.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that during patrolling, information came that Jitu Rai and Jawahar Rai are selling liquor on motorcycle and when they reached the place, the accused left the sack and and escaped. Upon search, 64.800 litres of Nepali liquor recovered/seized. Accordingly, the FIR.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession and

5. Learned APP has pointed out that he has three criminal antecedents of the same nature.

6. Considering the criminal antecedent the petitioner has, it would be appropriate that he seeks bail. His anticipatory bail application stands rejected.

7. If the petitioner surrenders within four weeks from today, the court concern shall take up the matter and dispose it of preferably on the same day.
