2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 406, 420, 448 , 468 , 467 , 471 , 472, 379, 384 , 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner, by means of forgery, got a sale deed of the land of the informant registered in his favour.
4. It is submitted that the petitioner is a bona fide purchaser of the land in question after payment of the due consideration amount. Moreover, it is purely a dispute of civil nature. Petitioner purchased the aforesaid land from the rightful

No.64909 of 2023(3) dt.06-12-2023 2/3 owner, namely, Ravindra Rao, after payment of consideration money of Rs. 4741000/- via a registered sale deed dated September 23, 2022. It is next submitted that earlier the informant had filed a case for the same land dispute bearing Bettiah (Town) P.S. Case No. 736/2022, and the petitioner has been allowed anticipatory bail in that case vide order dated February 20, 2023, passed in ABP No. 3136/2022, passed by learned District and Sessions Judge Bettiah, West Champaran.
5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the bail petition of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C . J .M, Bettiah , West Champaran in connection with Bettiah Town (Kalibagh O . P .) P.S. case No. 490 of 2023 , subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
