JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 03-01-2019 The writ Court vide order in CWJC No. 12087 of 2010, dated 20.6.2011, at the request of the petitioner disposed of the writ application with the direction to the authorities of the University to consider the claim of the petitioner and disposed of the claim of the petitioner with regard to grant of promotion on the post of Accountant in college in question. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University would submit that the claim of the petitioner was

Patna High Court MJC No.2790 of 2015(3) dt.03-01-2019 2/2 considered by the University and he has been granted promotion on the post of Accountant w.e.f 01.02.2011. Considering the scope of the present proceeding and the fact that the University has already granted promotion on consideration of the claim of the petitioner, the Court is not inclined to proceed any further. However, liberty shall be available to the petitioner to agitate the matter before the appropriate forum if he is aggrieved by the decision of the University. It is needless to say that respondentUniversity if granted promotion w.e.f. 02.01.2011 is expected to grant consequential benefits from the date of grant of promotion.
