====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 12-05-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Goh P.S. Case No. 04 of 2021 registered under Sections 304(B), 201, 34 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 10.10.2021, is a person with clean antecedent, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is not related to the husband of the deceased and was merely a mediator as he had mediated the marriage of the deceased with Dilip Kumar and it is alleged that he had given false information to the informant about employment of the husband of the deceased whereof the marriage was performed. It is also alleged that the accused persons tortured the deceased for dowry at the instance of the

It is further submitted that it absolutely does not stand to reason that the person who is not related to the family of the husband of the deceased would interfere in day to day affair and at his instance the family would have tortured the deceased. The learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 10.10.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and chargesheet has been submitted in the case and in the nature of allegation as alleged in the F.I.R., let the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Goh P.S. Case No. 04 of 2021.
