(I) For quashing decision of Compassionate Committee headed by the District Magistrate, Vaishali through Memo No. 1167 dated 26.09.2022 with respect to the petitioner only as contained in column No. 32 of the impugned notification whereby his claim for appointment on compassionate ground has been rejected assigning the reason that once after nomination of the name of dependant there is no provision to

(II) Further prays for issuance of direction in the name of Respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground on the post of Chaukidar whose fat her opted for voluntary retirement and nominated the petitioner for appointment."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
