JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-07-2022 The limited prayer of the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the Collector, East Champaran at Motihari i.e. the Respondent No. 2 to decide the pending Encroachment Appeal No. 14/2020-21.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on the one hand, the appeal of the petitioner is not being decided and on the other hand, the respondents are taking steps to demolish the house of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the Collector,

Patna High Court CWJC No.20818 of 2021(2) dt.21-07-2022 2/2 East Champaran at Motihari i.e. the Respondent No. 2 to dispose of the aforesaid Encroachment Appeal No. 14/2020-21, by passing final orders within a period of twelve weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

It is needless to state that status quo, existing as on today shall be maintained till the final disposal of the aforesaid Encroachment Appeal No. 14/20-21.
