The present petition has been filed for grant of regular bail on behalf of the petitioner in connection with K. Hat (Madhubani) P.S. Case No. 749 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 506 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation is regarding the informant having entered into an agreement for sale of land with the owner of the land, namely, Ramesh Bhagat and the co-accused, namely, Nurul Khan is said to be the broker in the said deal. However, subsequently, the deal became bad on account of the said land in question having already been sold by Ramesh Bhagat, earlier to somebody else. The only role attributable to the petitioner is that

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a bare perusal of the FIR itself would show that the petitioner has got no complicity in the matter and he is neither the purchaser nor the seller as well as he is also not the broker in question. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 30.07.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the present case, this Court deems it fit and proper to grant regular bail to the petitioner, above named, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with K. Hat (Madhubani) P.S. Case No. 749 of 2018.
