2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.T. No. 167 of 2023 arising out of Muffasil P.S. Case No. 399 of 2022 dated 02.11.2022, lodged under Sections 302 and 34 of the I.P.C. read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 27.02.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59201 of 2023 in which direction was made to the Trial Court to expedite the trial as early as possible preferably within six months. He submits that six months have already been lapsed but till date, trial has not been concluded and, therefore, he has filed the present bail application.

4. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that on the previous occasion, report has been called for.
5. Upon perusal of the report, it transpires that in the I.O., there were in total 11 charge-sheet witnesses. Charge has already been framed in this case on 17.04.2024 and examination of all the witnesses has been adduced in the trial. The Conducting Court has intimated that at best, the trial may be concluded within 60 days.
6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at present, therefore, his bail petition is hereby rejected.
7. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial in the light of the report submitted to the Court vide letter no. 99 dated 25.11.2024 maximum within three months. (Dr. Anshuman, J) sadique/- U T
