JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-04-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 342,354,379 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of Prevention of Witch (Daain) Practices Act.

It is alleged that co accused Mahesh Singh abused the informant for practicing witch craft on his daughter Khusboo Kumari. Co accused Amit kumar and Ajay Kumar caught the arm of the informant and took her in the courtyard but when people arrived the accused persons escaped from the scene and took rupees thirty thousand kept inside the house. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46571 of 2014 (2) dt.17-04-2015 2/2 that the accusation is only specific against co accused Mahesh and Dashrath Rai.

Considering the nature of accusation and the fact that petitioners are unmarried girls, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of twelve weeks from today on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Samastipur in connection with Mufassil P.S. Case No.253 of 2013 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
