JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 04-07-2019 The claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment is pending with the respondents. The brother of the petitioner is stated to have died in harness on 18.04.2011. After the death of his brother, the petitioner applied for compassionate appointment. The matter is still pending at the level of the respondents.
Considering the objective behind compassionate appointment, the respondents are directed to take appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest preferably within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
