JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 26-04-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 308, 324 and some other ancillary Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner assaulted by axe over the head of informant and thereby caused grievous injury.

It is submitted that informant and petitioner are cousin brother and due to prior land dispute some Marpit took place and there is no allegation of repetition of blow. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 22.10.2021 and investigation in this case is complete.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
