This application has been filed for the grant of regular bail to the petitioner who is in custody for offences under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code, in connection with Paraiya P.S. Case No. 04/1999 pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya.
This case is of the year 1999 instituted against unknown. Petitioner's name appears emerged during investigation and charge-sheet has already been submitted on 31st October 1999, petitioner evaded appearance, however, now he is in custody since 26th March, 2014.
Taking into consideration the delay caused
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48284 of 2014 (2) dt.20-02-2015 apart from other allegations, he appears not entitled for the grant of regular bail. accordingly, prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is refused.
Simultaneously, courts below are directed to proceed expeditiously and conclude the proceedings before it at the earliest.
