The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 32, 41 and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is a case of recovery of foreign liquor from the Ambulance owned by this petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the anticipatory bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71634 of 2021(2) dt.20-07-2022 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances that the seized liquor was recovered from the vehicle of this petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
