The petitioner is seeking regular bail in Mehandiganj P.S. Case No. 05 of 2017 under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 307, 379, 385, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that so far as the present petitioner is concerned, the only allegation against her is that she had assaulted the mother of the informant by catching hold of her hair, however, an identical allegation was made against the co-accused, who is the wife of Chhotan Kewat. Learned counsel further submits that so far as the mother of the informant is concerned, no injury except that of bruise has been found on her body. The wife of Chhotan Kewat has already been

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27459 of 2017 (2) dt.01-07-2017 2/2 granted regular bail by the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Patna City in BP No. 117/2017 (Annexure-4). A co-ordinate bench of this court has also granted regular bail to another co-accused in Cr. Misc. No. 22470/2017.

Considering the nature of allegations and the fact that the petitioner is a lady and is in custody since 06.03.2017, let the petitioner, namely, Arti Devi @ Munni Devi be enlarged on bail on her furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Patna City, District Patna in Mehandiganj P.S.
