2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 121 of 2024 dated 09.02.2024, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 448, 353, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, when the informant was discharging his official work, a call came on his mobile and the caller abused him by disclosing his name as petitioner and he threatened him to kill, if his work is not done. It is further alleged that the petitioner used his photo on the banner on the occasion of Chhat in order to tarnish his image.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is the Ward Councilor of Ward No. 28 and the informant is the Executive

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65537 of 2024(2) dt.01-10-2024 2/2 Officer of Nagar Parishad, Jehanabad. Both are the functionary of the same Nagar Parishad. For some pending development work in his ward since long, he always used to make explanation and on account of that there hot discussion took place in presence of several Councilors but after making some different allegation, he has lodged this false case against the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has one criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioners.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest/surrender of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from today, in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 121 of 2024, he shall be released on anticipatory bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
